Year 2012 has been a great year for SEMAT. To highlight a few: we have four SEMAT Chapters established (China, Latin America, South Africa, and Russia); Essence proposal to OMG has received overwhelming majority votes, next step is to address reviewers feedback; The English version of the Essence book will be available at Amazon in January; the book in other languages are underway; Essence has been part of university course material taught in Florida, Oslo and Stockholm; SEMAT General Theory of Software Engineering Workshop has been accepted by ICSE 2013.
We are pleased to see the progress made. We also look forward to a great year 2013.
