On Monday the OMG Architecture Board voted to accept the finalization task force (FTF) report for the Essence specification! The only issues that remain after this technical hurdel are a couple of editorial corrections that need to be made. The Essence 1.0 specification now goes to the Platform Technical Committee for voting, followed by review by the Business Committee and culminating in the formal adoption vote by the OMG Board of Directors.
So, thanks to all on the FTF who contributed to getting the Essence specification finalized!
